We bring pet training to your front door. Let us teach YOU how to communicate with your dog. Our obedience packages are tailored specifically to your dog's needs. You and your pup will learn from our staff in the environment that matters most, your home!

Working Dog Procurement and Evaluation

Let us save your agency time and money. We'll go test, evaluate, and procure K9s to your standards. We can also evaluate current K9 teams, and provide training plans and recommendations for unit success.

Police K9 Training

Specializing in K9 Training brought directly to your agency. Detection, apprehension, decoying, K9 problem solving, and certification prep. Learn from some of the best while we tailor training to your schedule and expectations. Private classes and seminars available upon request.

Detection Services

We offer Narcotic and Explosive detection K9 services as well. Whether you're setting up a long term contract or you need a short term detection solution, Old Line Canine can provide quality K9 teams to meet your every need.

About us


I'm Bryan. I've spent the last 15 years of my life dedicated to working and training dogs. In that time I served as dedicated Police K9 Handler, Trainer, Project Manager, and Training Director. I have worked on and managed canine programs for the Department of State in Afghanistan, Department of Defense, the United States Military, Federal and Local Law-Enforcement agencies as well as the NFL, MLS, and MLB. The dogs in these programs were trained at the highest of standards and expected to perform in the worst of environments.


I started Old Line Canine with the hopes of bringing the quality of training from the working dog community to pet owners across the area. With Old Line Canine you know that your dogs are being cared for and trained by legitimate professional dog trainers. We bring years of experience and methods that can't easily be taught over social media or YouTube. We use proven techniques that are backed by science to get the absolute best out of your dog. Our trainers will leave you feeling educated and confident to conquer any obstacle with your furry friend.

In addition to training, it is our mission to provide education to pet owners as to further communication and bonding with their pet.

FAQ

What pet services do you offer?

We offer private session pet training based on your needs, not ours. Sitting, staying, placing, and walking at heel are all options but may not be what you need or want. Behavioral adjustments, engagement, nutrition, agility, and owner education are all offered.  Reach out to us and let our training staff help put together a custom training plan based on what you want and what is best for your dog and your living situation.

Do you offer to board and train?

Currently, we offer boarding and training on a case by case basis. It's our philosophy that training should be done where it matters most to you, in your home. Most board and trains learn great foundational skills that can potentially fall apart when the pet is placed back into the home. We aim to avoid that by showing pet owners those foundations while learning WITH our trainers, so the pet is successful long after we have left the picture. That being said, in the rarity that "home" is not the best learning environment for your dog, we will consider boarding and training.

What areas do you service?

We are servicing Harford, Cecil, and Baltimore Counties (Maryland) at this time for Pet Services. Working Dog and Police K9 Services are region wide.
